My journey in the U.S. began with a universal challenge - navigating the complexities of food. As I joined many others in the struggle to understand and cook healthy food, the idea for this project took shape.

I interviewed 10 different college students and young professional about their food habits and their current struggles with food in the the United States. Here is what they said:
“I like to to be accountable of what I eat, and I want to reduce the amount of processed food I am eating on a daily basis.”
“I would really like to know about what foods suit my body the best and what I can avoid. I would like to follow a schedule that can be easily adaptable.”
“I do not want to drastically change my eating habits, but I would like to gradually adapt healthy eating habits into my lifestyle.”
“I have limited time. I just want to make a diet which is easy to make, nutritious, and that which keeps me with high energy throughout the day.It is very difficult to place trust in an application or website for cooking. So looking for a trust worthy solution.”
The common keywords that I derived from the user interviews became the guiding principles of my product.
Created a Customer Journey Map to deeply understand User's actions and painpoints.
Defining the job stories helped in streamlining the product and think of different scenarios the user would be using the application.
Why is this important?
Every year, thousands of people are getting diagonaised with different chronic conditions like Diabetes Type 2, Low/High Blood Pressure, Insomnia and the list is endless.
Just with a little awareness about what foods are great for our body can make a big difference. I aspire to launch this product very soon, and help millions of people around the world in their fitness journey.
